Two soldiers in rain coats and muddy boots.  One carries a
French M2 gas mask in addition to box respirator. Unidentified but dated
on back
as "Feb 1918".
Soldier carrying rifle in a mounted rifle scabbard. Stamp dated
Aug 29, 1918. Written on back "To my dear parents, Joe" and
the name "Joseph Cygnor". A geneology check on that name
produced a single draft registration card (ww2) that shows Joseph
John Cygnor as living in Toledo, OH
being born in Amsterdam, NY on March 3rd, 1895.
Unidentified soldier with luggage and German
pickelhaube strapped to his helmet which is strapped to his gas mask
bag.
